DRM & Decryption Troubleshooting
Solve common issues with DRM-protected video decryption, Widevine CDM keys, and media container muxing.
Encrypted MP4 Plays Only Audio or Shows Black Screen
OnlyFans protects certain high-value and paid vault videos using Widevine DRM. Ensure your CDM (Content Decryption Module) keys (client_id.bin and private_key.pem) are uploaded in the Dashboard Settings tab.
Decryption Key Mismatch (403 Forbidden)
Your active session cookie or auth token might have expired. Log into OnlyFans in your browser to refresh your authentication headers, then reload the downloader dashboard.
Partial or Fragmented Video Streams
Check that FFmpeg or MP4Box is properly detected on your system. RK Downloader automatically multiplexes separate video and audio DASH/HLS segments into a single container.
Rate Limiting and Throttled Speeds
If downloads pause frequently, reduce concurrent threads from 16 to 4 in Dashboard settings. This prevents temporary IP throttling from CDN edges.
Configuring Custom CDM Keys
By default, RK Downloader uses embedded cloud decryption keys for standard subscribers. For custom local decryption without third-party requests, open the Settings tab on the Dashboard and supply your own Android or Chrome CDM device pairing files.
